Eight Nasty Ways Men End Relationships

By now you know that not every relationship end up in marriage. What this means is that by the time a guy get married, he would have been involved in many relationships. How many before your marriage? If you are not married yet, how many relationships have you had so far? Probably many!

Agreed, there is no easy way to break a romantic heart, but surely it must be done if the feelings is no longer there or perhaps never was there. The most dignifying thing to do is just to say it. Men have devised many cunning, un-dignifying and cowardly ways to end an affair...

1.      Email: Less common than before as it may not be immediately read because the lady may not access her mailbox straight away.

2.      Text messages: For the very cowardly and guys who wants it over right now, it requires no explanation and no contact and the guy feels less guilty.

3.      Abscond/travel: really heartless. Leaving your residence for some unknown destination that everyone else knows except her. Some guys have been known to keep plans of a pending trip abroad all to themselves and then the oblivious ”girlfriend” pays him a visit only to be told that he has travelled!

4.      Through a friend: How un-dignifying is that. His best pal  is chosen to bear the bad news.

5.      Through the new girlfriend: You pay him a visit and guess who opens the door for you? “Yes, can I help you?” Vicious, violent fights have been known to erupt at such doorsteps and many times the “boyfriend is missing in action”.

6.      Cut-off: No phone calls, no visits, no text messages. Absolutely nothing.

7.      He picks an almighty fight and makes the girl think it’s her fault. During the terrible argument, he slips in the sentence he has been dying to say all month. “...and that’s it, its over”. The worst story I heard was the one where the guy sent a message from his station that he had died. He later travelled abroad, but this, if it were true, is of course the worst kind of betrayal.

8.      Actor Matt Damm broke up with then girlfriend, Minnie Driver, on Oprah! But it really isn’t only boys who behaved badly. Britney Spear famously ditched her then husband, Kevin Federline, by text message while he was out partying with friends.
